  • Ferrule is stuck inside one of the injector valve ports (typically port 5 or 6)

CAUSE

Over-tightened tubing.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Attempt to remove ferrule without damaging injector valve pod
  2. If unsuccessful, replace injector valve pod
  3. Verify integrity of fluidics connections by performing Set Pressure Diagnostics test (M-Class and nanoACQUITY) or Dynamic Leak Test including seal and needle

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Also similar issue can be resolved on the Acquity column manager but with a 7 port valve
