SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY component in error state
• Instrument console shows "Error: failed to get status" message

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• UNIFI

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Take instrument system offline in UNIFI.
2. Power-cycle the ACQUITY component that displayed the error.
3. Bring instrument system back online.
4. Confirm that instrument initializes correctly and error clears.
