Peak saturation on 2475 detector in low-sensitivity mode - WKB10406

SYMPTOMS

• Peak saturation after repair service
• Peaks off scale
• Flat-top peaks

ENVIRONMENT

• 2475 detector
• It is impossible to change the method (reduce injection volume and gain setting, for example)

CAUSE

Sensitivity is recovering with repair service (repair optics).

FIX or WORKAROUND

To reduce PMT sensitivity:

1. Select  Diag > 8 Other diagnostics on 2475.

2. Press "PMT Sensitivity override" and show the "PMT Sensitivity" view.

3. Select "Low Sensitivity Mode".

4. Specify a reduction value of 10 or 100.
