MS-based systems (QTof)

  • One LC-MS system per LND
  • One or two optical detectors (TUV, PDA, FLR)

Optical LC systems

  • Two LC systems per LND
  • One or two optical detectors (TUV, PDA, FLR)

Note: 2D LC MS systems are not supported in waters_connect 3.0.0 and earlier, but are supported in waters_connect 3.2.0 and later using UNIFI acquisition. See waters_connect 3.2.0 release overview page.

Maximum number of instrument systems supported by a waters_connect Network:

  • Two instrument systems that contain a QTof MS (Xevo or Vion)
  • Up to six RDa/BioAccord systems
  • Up to two QTof (Vion/Xevo or a mix) and up to two BioAccord/RDa
  • Six instrument systems that contain only optical detectors
