ANSWER

A problem in UNIFI 1.9.9 and 1.9_SR4 means that, although the API version supplied on the installation media can be configured to allow the Byos file browser to view the contents of the UNIFI database, it is not possible for Byos to extract data from the UNIFI database. This is a problem in UNIFI 1.9.4 and UNIFI 1.9.9, not in the Protein Metrics software.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This problem is fixed in waters_connect with UNIFI 1.9.12 and Public API 1.9 (BioAccord only). To resolve this issue on other instruments you need waters_connect with UNIFI 1.9.13 and Public API 1.10.

API versions are specific to UNIFI versions. Do not try to use an API version other than the one supplied on your UNIFI installation media.
