PROCEDURE
You can’t add directly to the Science Library from Unknown Component, but it is possible to add via the Elucidate tool.
<To add it one by one>
- Right-click the Candidate Mass xxx.xxxx and select Elucidate.
- Select the Elemental Composition from the Processing list.
- Click the Start button.
- From the formulas showed, select the appropriate one and click the Assign button.
- Enter the compound name you want to register as the component name and click OK.
- Select Identified Component in the Workflow.
- Select the registered compound name, then click Send > Science Library.
- In the Existing Library field, specify the destination library and click OK.
<To add multiple items>
- Select Unknown Component in the Workflow.
- Select Component Review from the upper right Tools menu.
- On the left, the Candidate Mass xxx.xxxx shows Elemental Composition in the right column.
- Select a candidate mass to be added to the Science Library, select an appropriate one from the Elemental Composition in the right column, and click the Assign button.
- Enter the compound name you want to register as the component name and click OK.
- Select Identified Component in the Workflow.
- Select the multiple lines of registered compound names, then click Send > Science Library.
- In the Existing Library field, specify the destination library and click OK.
