SYMPTOMS

• During processing, the following error appears: "An error occurred. Processing was terminated prematurely"
• The peak-picking processing completes successfully, but it only makes it about 53% of the way through application processing before the data processing fails with the error
• It fails as the system is attempting to extract the ion chromatograms for the target compounds that have been found in a sample

CAUSE

Corrupted analysis method

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Create a new process-only analysis method (from scratch).
2. Create a new analysis using the new process analysis method and the previously acquired data.
