Explorer is blank / not populated (CRI-465) - WKB74308

SYMPTOMS

• A user is unable to view folders; when closing Explorer the following error appears:
  
  "Cannot update user preferences' window:
  An error occurred while saving the home node, if the problem persists contact your System administrator"

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4

CAUSE

CRI-465

When using Explorer to frequently search across many folders, the user preferences can become corrupted and result in this defect.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Contact Waters Support for excalation to Waters Global Service Support for versions 1.9.9 and earlier
• The defect is now resolved in waters_connect UNIFI 1.9.12 and above due to a fix in an Oracle Defect in 19c
