- In UNIFI/MassLynx, "probe not connected error" appears, sometimes with "Idle 71570338.57 Minutes Error" as additional information
ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE
Loss of communication
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Reboot the electronics on the mass spectrometer.
- Restart the computer.

Here is the procedure for rebooting the electronics on a Xevo G2.
For some instruments having the source door open during electronic/EPC reboot is needed to clear the error as well as Unifi server restart.
