What does the audit trail entry "Delete Analytical Task Notification" mean in UNIFI? - WKB64752

Article number: 64752

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI 1.8.x, 1.9.x
  • waters_connect

ANSWER

The "Delete Analytical Task Notification" is created when an item in the Work in Progress queue is discarded using the red X. In waters_connect there is a Delete icon that can be used to Discard analysis.

If you open the analysis and then close it selecting "Don't Save", no audit entry is created.

When discarding a WIP analysis item, the sample set (raw data) and method are not deleted, so no data is lost. Any processing is discarded because this is what WIP is designed for
—a work area prior to saving when the user is happy with the integration and other factors.

Another option is to select "Save Result" when running an Analysis. This will automatically save the processed analysis as well as the sample set.
