MaxEnt1 deconvolution of intact oligo data yields poor results - WKB61842

SYMPTOMS

Deconvoluting intact oligo data with MaxEnt1 results in poor peak shape and incorrect ratio of different components.

CAUSE

Default MaxEnt1 settings for intact protein are not optimal for oligos. Oligos do not always give a symmetrical distribution of charge states.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change intensity thresholds in MaxEnt1 to include more lower intensity peaks and use different settings for left and right sides to pick up all related charge states.
