UNIFI data processing error: The retention times are not regular enough in channel - WKB56522

SYMPTOMS

• When processing imported MassLynx data, UNIFI processing fails
• UNIFI gives the following error message: "The retention times are not regular enough in channel '1: TOF MSᴱ (100-2000) 6eV, 6eV ESI+'. Can not process this sample!".
• Increasing the lock spray and scan rate did not solve the issue (see WKB14802)

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9 SR 2 (1.9.2)

CAUSE

MS trace was discontinued after 45 minutes due to lock spray syringe refill. This created a data file that UNIFI could not process.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Re-acquire the data.
