Cannot search ChemSpider libraries in UNIFI - WKB56319

SYMPTOMS

• In Review > Elucidation Toolset > Discovery, on the ChemSpider tab, the Available libraries box is empty 
• If you switch from Discovery to ChemSpider Search, the message "Unable to connect to ChemSpider" appears in red
   

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI

CAUSE

Customer's McAfee implementation is blocking access to the ChemSpider site.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Configure McAfee to exclude connection to ChemSpider.
