In UNIFI, get an "Error writing stream" when trying to import MassLynx data - WKB231010

SYMPTOMS

• When trying to import MassLynx raw data from a local drive into UNIFI, the import doesn't complete and errors out
• The Event Browser window shows an Acquisition File Data Import Error; the details show Error Writing stream: ORA-01691: unable to extend lob segment EVERST.CON_ITEMSTREAMBLOB_STREAMC_LOB by 1024 in tablespace WATERSSTREAMBLOB.  Example:
• The Event Browser window shows an Acquisition File Data Import Error; the details show Error: <insert file name> Error writing stream: Stream not open.  Example:
• There's plenty of space in the database
• Stopping and starting the WatServiceHost service does not resolve

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4 workstation
• MassLynx

CAUSE

Suspect power outage affected PC

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close all programs.
2. Reboot the UNIFI workstation.

Can also occur when data acquisition is running . Reboot resolved
