ANSWER
On the My Work tab, click on Instrument Systems. Highlight the online system (do not double-click to open it). In the top-right corner, hover over the small symbol to reveal "show sample list queue". Click on it and you see the sample queue at the bottom of the page. From here you can also abort samples.
