In UNIFI, entire peak is not being integrated as desired - WKB16256

SYMPTOMS

• Software is drawing a straight line down the middle of the peak, not integrating the entire peak as desired

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.8
• MSe Accurate Mass Screening method

CAUSE

Automatic settings for peak width are inappropriate for this data set.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Edit the analysis method.
2. Go to the Processing tab.
3. Select Find 2D Peaks.
4. In the Region Parameters section, disable Automatic peak width.
5. For the poorly integrated peak, specify the experimentally measured peak width in seconds.
6. Click Update.
7. Reprocess the data with the adjusted method.
