SYMPTOMS

• Settings specified in the analysis method or promotable parameters in the sample list are not applied during analysis
• The "acquisition information" screen shows that values from manual tune were applied during acquisition

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS QTof
• UNIFI 1.9.4

CAUSE

"Locked parameters" were mistakenly enabled in the instrument setup screen, which prevents selected parameters from being overridden by method settings or promotable parameters. This option should not be used under normal circumstances.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Clear the "locked parameters" selection, as shown in the screenshot above.
