SYMPTOMS

• UNIFI is unavailable after applying Windows updates to server and clients

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4 Network
• UNIFI 1.9.4 Workstation

CAUSE

.NET 4.8 has been applied to workstation or server but .NET 4.7.2 is the supported version for UNIFI.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Remove the following updates:

1. KB4486153, which is the .NET 4.8 update for Win 10 build 1809, 1803, and 1709

2. KB4486129, which is the .NET 4.8 update for Win 10 build 1703 and 1607

3. KB4486105, which is the .NET 4.8 update for Server 2012r2

4. KB4601051 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10, version 1607
