Timebase error using Empower and Corona Veo charged aerosol detector (CAD) - WKB4124

SYMPTOMS

• Message appears in Empower 3 Feature Release 2 when running the CAD: "Found the following errors while linking panel to timebase [system name]".
• Error "property search failed because "connected" is not unique".
• Injection not triggered
• Data may display when monitoring baseline

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2.
• Thermo Fisher Scientific Dionex Corona Veo Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD).

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reboot the system and software.
2. Create a new instrument method.
3. Check the RS232 to screw terminal connector cable
