OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Configure a NuGenesis File Capture project to use a Managed Storage device.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

PROCEDURE

1. Log in to NuGenesis SDMS Administrator.
2. Open Properties of the file capture project to be configured.
3. Click on the Managed Storage Locations tab.
4. Click Add and pick a Managed Store device from the list.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

A Managed Store device cannot be added or removed from an SDMS project after a record has been captured to that project. A managed storage device can be removed if all data in the project is either deleted or moved to another project.
