ANSWER

"Waters UNIFI Printer" is the printer used by NuGenesis UNIFY to create PDF versions of printed reports. This printer is used only when a user prints a report to a PDF-enabled project in SDMS. It is not intended for use by users directly. If there are no PDF projects in SDMS, the printer can be deleted in order to reduce user confusion between the two similarly named printers.

CRI-649 was filed to request a modification to the printer name: Append "-- Do Not Use" to the name as a signal to end users that "Waters UNIFI Printer" should not be used.
