Error "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040203" occurs when opening an Empower report in the NuGenesis LMS Empower browser - WKB67631

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears in the Empower browser within NuGenesis LMS when opening a report:
  • 评估查询字符串时，出现了一个语法错误 (异常来自 HRESULT:0x80040203)
  • English: "A syntax error occurred while evaluating a query string. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040203)

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• The Japanese localized LMS client is installed

CAUSE

The user tried to open an English-language project in Empower.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Defect report CRI-620 was filed for this issue.

Due to the different field names in the various localized versions of Empower, users should open only those projects whose field names match the localized version of Empower, through the LMS Empower browser.
