Form audit trail is not retained if form is recovered after an ELN.exe crash - WKB6585

SYMPTOMS

• A SmartBuilder form's audit trail report does not contain entries for data that was added to the form.
• The form was recovered by LMS following an LMS or Excel program crash.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

The auto-recover file does not contain the form's audit trail information. As a consequence, any forms recovered from the Recover file do not have audit entries for all data changes made prior to the program crash.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Defect reports INFLMS-9194, CRI-329, and INFLMS-2507 were filed for this issue for NG8 SR1, NG8 SR2, and NG9, respectively.
2. Hofixes are available for the following versions:
   • NuGenesis 8 ELN SR1
   • NuGenesis 8 LMS SR2
