Error: NG14570 in .mark_bad files in the NuGenesis SDMS TE_TEMP folder - WKB62354

SYMPTOMS

• NuGenesis TE Temp folder filling up with .mark_bad files.
• Error message: "[NG14570] Unknown database error. Please report this to your support or NuGenesis Technologies support."

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

1. Manage Storage location out of disk space.
2. Managed Storage Device inaccessible
   
   NuGenesis Transport Engine could not move data to the FTP Manage Storage location.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Error NG14570 typically implies a problem with Managed Storage. Follow the instructions in article 12968 for troubleshooting the Managed Storage location.
2. Increase the disk space on the Manage Storage location.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If the NuGenesis RPC service account password changes and that account is used for the manage storage user and login, the password also has to be updated in SDMS Administrator for that managed storage. If SDMS admin is not updated, the same error above will show in the mark.bad files
