Error "Out of string space" appears in the NuGenesis Archive Agent log file - WKB60798

SYMPTOMS

• The following message appears in the NuGenesis Archive Agent log file:
  • Execute Agent. (14): Out of string space.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

One or more of the templates selected within the AA configuration is too large to be processed by the Archive Agent.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Copy the template lines into a new archive template:
   1. Open the current archive template for editing.
   2. Switch to SDMS Administrator and create a new archive template.
   3. Switch to the current template, select one of the active template lines, and click the Copy button.
   4. Switch to the new template and click Paste.
   5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all active lines are copied into the new template.
   6. Save the new archive template.
2. Update the AA configuration to use the new template:
   1. Log in to the SDMS Service Configuration Console (SCC).
   2. Stop the AA module if it is running.
   3. In the list of templates, delete the entry for the old template.
   4. Add the new template to the list.
   5. Click the Save button and restart the AA module.
