Error "Error encountered while invoking remote EVS Server objects" appears in the NuGenesis Archive Agent log file - WKB58835

SYMPTOMS

• No Empower data is archived into NuGenesis

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS
• Empower 3

CAUSE

The installed NuGenesis Data Adapters are not compatible with the installed version Empower 3 on the "Remote DCOM Server" machine.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Upgrade to the latest available Data Adapters release for your version of NuGenesis, as the latest adapter will likely support more versions of Empower 3 compared to older versions, and it will contain many bug fixes and enhancements
• If the latest Data Adapter release does not support the installed version of Empower, then consider an upgrade to a more recent version of Empower 3
