All sections in NuGenesis LMS documents are shown as exceeding the page width - WKB57023

SYMPTOMS

• When a user opens an LMS document, all sections are shown as exceeding the page width
• The horizontal ruler at the top of the LMS document editor appears in red
• If the document has no sections, the ruler is blank
• PDF reports from LMS does not work

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

A problem with the "WatersLMS PDF Printer" results in the page width being set to 0.  All sections thus exceed the page width.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. The most common reason for this problem is that a program file, cdintf450.dll, is missing. It should be in C:\Windows\syswow64. If that file is not present on the NuGenesis LMS server, contact Waters Technical Support for assistance in downloading a copy of the file.
2. If the file is present on the LMS server, or if the file is copied over but the problem persists, check the NuGenesis LMS Web server log file and the Windows Event Logs for error messages
