NuGenesis SDMS is not archiving projects from an Empower server located in another time zone - WKB27793

SYMPTOMS

• The Empower and NuGenesis servers are in different time zones

• Empower project is captured on the first File Capture Scan

• If the Empower project is modified, the project is not captured again

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

Typically, this occurs because the Empower server and the NuGenesis File Capture server are in different time zones. The date comparisons determine if an Empower project is a candidate for archive.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• The Empower server and the NuGenesis File Capture server are required to be in the same time zone.
