How to set up the restore location to use a folder other than <Original Location> when restoring Empower projects from NuGenesis - WKB26066

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Set up the restore location to use a folder on the local PC when restoring Empower projects using NuGenesis Vision.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

PROCEDURE

1. In NuGenesis Vision, select a record with Empower as its Data Adapter and restore that record. 
2. In the NuGenesis Restore dialog's Restore Locations List, use the drop-down menu and select <Any Location>.
3. Press the Select Restore Location button. 
4. In the "Browse to Folder" dialog, pick any local folder. Click OK.
5. Click Begin Restore. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The "Restore Locations List" option <Original Location> should not be used because it can interfere with the capture of Empower projects.  

After the Empower project is restored to a folder, log in to the Empower Client, select File, and restore project. Browse to the folder location chosen in NuGenesis Vision restore.
