The NuGenesis LMS Document Creator Service is running but does not create documents - WKB256023

SYMPTOMS

• The NuGenesis LMS Document Creator Service (DCS) is running
• No documents are created
• The DCS log file shows that the service started to create documents but the creation process was paused due to a failure in the substitution process

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• The DCS is properly configured for its database connection and LMS server connection
• 32-bit Microsoft Office is installed

CAUSE

One of the sections in the document cannot be opened in Microsoft Excel or Word.
