The NuGenesis LMS Document Creator Service fails to create a document - WKB11666

SYMPTOMS

• Notification of failed creation of an LMS document received in NuGenesis LMS Inbox

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

A 64-bit version of Microsoft Office is installed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Install a 32-bit version of Microsoft Office on the server that hosts the NuGenesis Document Creator Service. See the release notes for your version of NuGenesis for the versions of Office that are compatible with the DCS.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This service may be hosted on any machine, not just the NuGenesis LMS server.
