SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears when saving documents in NuGenesis LMS:
  • Record: XXXX is already in use or has ben logically deleted
• All users are unable to release/sign documents in NuGenesis LMS due to this error

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

An internal counter in the LMS database is out of sync with the database records.
