File names with '%' characters in the C:\ drive prevent the NuGenesis RPC service from moving files out of TE TEMP - WKB24169

SYMPTOMS
- The NuGenesis RPC service is running and iles remain in the TE_TEMP folder
- Restarting the NuGenesis RPC service does not resolve the issue
- Setting the logon account for the RPC service to LocalSystem does not resolve the issue
- The RPC service's NG80RPCShadowServer.exe processes in Task Manager appear to stop and get re-started
ENVIRONMENT
- NuGenesis 8 SDMS
- NuGenesis 9.1 SDMS
CAUSE
Files are in the root folder of the C: drive and have the % character in the name.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Delete all non-essential files in the C:\ folder
- Restart the NuGenesis RPC service
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Defect CRI-3 has been filed for this issue.
For a UNIFY client, two NG80RPCShadowServer.exe processes are expected when the NuGenesis RPC service is running. For a File Capture server, there may be 1 to 4 processes, depending on the status of the four modules in the SCC Manager.
