"Error while opening CLOB file name" appears in the NuGenesis SDMS system activities project - WKB22397

SYMPTOMS

• Transport Engine error in the SDMS_System_Activities Project:

    "Error while opening CLOB file name" 

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

• A reboot of the server or a restart of the NuGenesis RPC service while files are captured
• Temporary drop in the network connection

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Delete or move all the .mark_bad files away from TE_TEMP into a new folder.

2. Restart the RPC service.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This error message means that all the files in the group that are needed to insert the record in question are not in TE_TEMP.
