The only known way to add the Smart Builder COM Add-in to Excel is with the software installation process.

This question often comes up when Smart Builder is installed on a machine where 64-bit Microsoft Office is present. Smart Builder is a 32-bit add-in and will not work in 64-bit Office. After uninstalling and reinstalling 32-bit Office, the Smart Builder add-in must also be uninstalled and reinstalled.
