How to replace the fonts in NuGenesis SDMS UNIFY - WKB16722

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Replace the fonts in NuGenesis SDMS UNIFY.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

PROCEDURE

1. On the Unify Font Replacement tab, in the first column of the two tables, specify the name of the print application as it is shown in the "Printed By" column in a Vision report.
2. In the upper table, specify the font you want to use for that print application.
3. In the lower table, specify the replacement. Let's say the application Empower prints reports with Arial but you want to print with Times New Roman into SDMS. Specify the app name in the first column of the lower table and the existing font within the report to be printed (in the column "From Font"). Specify in the column "To Font" the new font you want to see within the printer report in SDMS/Vision.
4. UNIFY font replacement data are stored in the file C:\Windows\NG80SDMS.fm. Ensure that the user has sufficient permissions to change the file.
