The NuGenesis LMS Toolbox is a Windows program that requires a compatible Oracle client of the same version as the NuGenesis database. The Oracle clients that come with NuGenesis SDMS and LMS are not compatible with the toolbox; they lack the required exp.exe and imp.exe tools. Download and install the full Oracle client from Oracle's website, install the Toolbox on the LMS database server, or install the Toolbox on an Empower 3 client machine and use its Oracle client. In any case, the Oracle TNSNames.ora file must be modified to include an entry for the NuGenesis database, so that the toolbox can connect to the proper database.

The LMS Toolbox works with Windows 10, 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Server 2016.
