No data to print in NuGenesis UNIFY because "Carbon Black" is running in the background - WKB123519

SYMPTOMS

• UNIFY Print Error: "An error occurred processing the print job. If the error persists contact Technical Support. The cause of the error was: Empty Document. No data to print"

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS Windows 10
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The antivirus software "Carbon Black" is running in the background. Carbon Black will not be seen by process monitor because it's not on the local PC. It's run and monitored by the vendor IT department on its network.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Their IT department must run an exclusion for all NGSDMS dir.

See the image for the exact error. Bear in mind that there may be other antivirus software similar to Carbon Black.
