SYMPTOMS

•  "This site can't be reached" appears in the browser when accessing the new NuGenesis SDMS Audit Viewer

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9.1
• New SDMS Audit Trail viewer
• Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

CAUSE

Conflict with URL settings and Active X controls

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. The new SDMS Audit Trail viewer is supported only for use with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The URL should look like this: https://Hostname:444/

2. The View Audit Trail link from the SDMS Welcome page does not work unless you select either Enable or Prompt for the Download unsigned Active X controls.

3. Confirm that there is an IIS certificate activated and bound for the AuditTrailClientApp website in IIS.
