SYMPTOMS

• Using PDFs that have been file captured, no text can be extracted using extraction templates in NuGenesis 9.1
• Error message "There is no text inside the selected region of the report" on the extraction template

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9.1 SDMS

CAUSE

An incorrect Waters.PrintDataViewer.Engine.dll file is present at the installation location.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Fixed in NuGenesis 9.1 SDMS HF 1 and in NuGenesis 9.3.1.
