Discrepancy between values recorded for date/time of print and date/time of database insertion in NuGenesis SDMS - WKB119602

SYMPTOMS

• Records printed from EDC software (configured with dissolution) to SDMS
• Record was previewed in VISION
• Discrepancy discovered between date/time values for "Printed" and "Database Insertion"
• Database insertion time appears to be correct

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis SDMS 8 SR2

CAUSE

Possible software defect

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. As an alternative, extract the date of print from the content of the report being printed as metadata, using UNIFY Template.

2. No occurrences of this issue have been reported with NG9
