MassLynx inlet editor does not open - WKB94392

SYMPTOMS

• Selecting the inlet editor icon starts the initialization bar but does not result in the inlet editor window opening
• Right-clicking on the inlet editor method in the sample list and selecting edit does not open the inlet editor window

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

Sample list copied from a previously created project into a new project where that inlet file does not exist.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Either copy the inlet file referred to in the sample list to the newly created project (ACQDB) or re-create the inlet file.
2. When MassLynx finds the inlet file path again, the inlet editor will open without a problem.
