After submission of sample list, MassLynx says file does not exist for inlet method, MS method, or Tune page - WKB8698

SYMPTOMS

• After submission of the sample list, MassLynx says that file for Tune page, inlet method, or MS method does not exist

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• MassLynx 4.2

CAUSE

MassLynx is looking in the ACQUDB folder of the project that is currently open in the main (white) MassLynx page. If the file is not there, or if the path to the other project folder is not present in the sample list, an error is given. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the method or Tune page in question. 
2. Select File > Save as and browse to the ACQUDB folder inside the project that is currently open.
3. Save the method.
4. Acquire.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This error can also occur if the incorrect project is open in MassLynx.  From the main sample list window, select File -> Open project to select the correct project that matches the sample list methods.
