Use Switch2 event when using Divert Valve with MassLynx QDa - WKB86285

SYMPTOMS

• Divert Valve not working with MassLynx QDa

CAUSE

Switch1 cannot be selected in Event of MS Method

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the MS Method used for the analysis.
2. Open Method Event from the Option menu.
3. Add the time event of Switch2 to the time for divert valve action.
4. If ON is selected for Action, it is sent to the MS; If OFF is selected, it is sent to the waste side.
