ANSWER

1. Select the Accurate mass measure from Tools in Masslynx Tools menu from the side bar.

2. Select (check) the relevant continuum data from Input File(s) in File Selection by right click and select, red cross will become green tick.

3. Select “Automatic Peak Detection” for the Process Type, set the Parameters from the menu bar; Automatic Peak Detection parameters > Positive Ions (or neg)  and select the tick box Set Automatic Peak Detection parameters automatically. Additionally you can select the Perform Lock Mass Correction tick box.

Use 556.2771 - 554.2615 for Xevo QTOF's and Synapt models

Use 556.276575 - 556.262022 for cyclic IMS and MRT instruments

4.  Press the Process button.

5. Data that is Centroided and Lockmass corrected, a separate file will be generated with AFAMM in the suffix name.
