Calibration check fails immediately after running calibration in MassLynx - WKB80424

SYMPTOMS

• Calibration routine passes, but if the calibration check is run immediately afterwards, the check fails

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• SYNAPT G2

CAUSE

Corrupt calibration profile

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Create a new calibration profile by first opening the MS console and selecting the SYNAPT instrument.
2. From the Configure menu, choose Calibration Profile Editor.
3. In the Calibration Profile Editor window, select New.
4. In the New Calibration Profile window, enter details such as the name, the mass range, calibration type, and polarity.
5. Click OK to save these settings. The new profile is now available for use.
