PDF files generated from the printing of OpenLynx reports through OA Login processing are not being saved to the correct folders - WKB79041

SYMPTOMS

• PDF file is saved to the project folder specified in the OA Manager > Report Location > Primary field
• PDF file is not saved to the folder specified in the Secondary or Copy fields
• Found: OpenLynx Report files (.rpt) are being saved to the Primary and Copy folders specified in the OA Manager > Report Location
• Found: The folder specified in ADOBE as the location to write PDF files is the same folder as the Report Location > Primary field

CAUSE

Misunderstanding of how the PDF files are generated and where they are saved

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Change the folder path specified in the ADOBE software to the location where the PDF files need to be saved.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The file paths specified in the OA Manager > Report Location dialog only control where the OpenLynx Report Files (.rpt) are saved. Files will be saved to the Primary location and, if specified, to the Copy location. Files are only saved to the Secondary location when the Primary location is not accessible.

The location where PDF files are saved is specified in the PDF writer software.
