DynamX processing error "Apex3D64.exe aborted with unexpected error code: -1" - WKB76762

SYMPTOMS

• Attempt to process data through DynamX fails with error "Apex3D64.exe aborted with unexpected error code: -1" for each time point
• View log on the DynamX software shows the last entry as follows:
  "Survey Low Energy to calculate peak width
  Chrom peak width
  Error: Failed to calculate chrom peak width
  Exiting"

ENVIRONMENT

• DynamX HDX data analysis software
• HDX
• HDX-2

CAUSE

Review of RAW data file reveals that this is a blank injection that contains no peptides. DynamX is searching for a peptide peak to calculate peak width.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Inject a sample with actual peptides present for calculation.
