SYMPTOMS

• Summary table in TargetLynx browser is blank
• Only the sample name is shown
• Verified that the TargetLynx method is correct
• Verified that raw data can be opened from the sample list with the Chromatogram menu option
• Verified that the method selected can process data acquired previously in the old project
• New project created just before the issue started
• Found: New project was created using Copy/Paste in Windows Explorer, not with the Project Wizard

CAUSE

The new project was created using Copy/Paste in Windows Explorer, not with the Project Wizard.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Using the last working project as a template, create a new project using Project Wizard.
2. Copy raw data from the bad project to the DATA folder of the new project.
3. Copy the sample list file from the old project to the SampleDB folder of the new project.
4. Process data within the new project.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When projects are created using the Project Wizard, the project.ini file is created. This file sets the file path to the location of the project.

If a project is created using Copy/Paste, the project.ini file will be incorrect.
