Diversity Browser error: Could not start print job - WKB69638

SYMPTOMS

• The automatic print feature of the OpenLynx Diversity Browser displays the post-run error "Could not start print job"
• Clicking OK allows the report to print

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• OpenLynx
• OALogin

CAUSE

The printer name for the PDF printer is not Adobe PDF.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Change the Printer name to “Adobe PDF”. (The printer settings will be lost and will need to be set again in Printing Preferences.)

2. Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers, right-click on Bullzip pdf, go to Printer properties and change the name from (for example) Bullzip pdf to Adobe PDF.
